Conscious Consumer

Nowadays it's really hard to be conscious consumer, maybe it would be better to say "it's hard to buy products whit good composition" All the time we are manipulate by commercials. 

Im sure that when you do shopping you don't care much about products which you are buying. Probably you don't have time to have a look on the list of ingredients when you have to choose one.

Let's imagine a situation in which you have to buy a water. And on a shelf you see two waters.
                           

                        water number 1.                                                    water number 2. 




Which one would you buy ? Im 99,9% sure that you will choose the first one. Why ? Because you "know" it more. You see it more often on TV. Even if water number two has much more minerals you will buy the first one. And what is funny ? That when you drink water number one it's like you are drinking tap water. Because its just spring water. 

So thats how commercials affect our choices. 

And one more thing in water topic. Did you now that flavored water shouldn't be called like that? It's not water its more like flavored drink not water! the composition of such water is : spring water 95%, sugar, acidity regulator : lemony acid, aroma, cherry juice from concentrated juice (0,1%) so thats how many fruits there are! 😰

When you are on a diet on you decided to eat cleaner and you just want taste something sweet, would buy oreo chocolate or flavored water ?

I think that you will choose flavored water, but its just water so it's much more healthier than bar of chocolate! Nothing more wrong, this flavored water has inside 14 teaspoon of sugar and the bar of chocolate just 9 teaspoon of sugar. 😳 
And usually children are drinking something like this.. So look now how many sugar we fund them.

    - bread  2-3 months
    -row cake 1 month
    -cookies 6-8 months 
  2. FISH, SEAFOOD
    -smoked fish 2 months
    -fish on steam 6 months
    -shrimps, oyster 3-6 months 
  3. MEAT
    -ground meat 2 months
    -poultry 3 months
    -pork 6 months
    -beef 8 months 
  4. DAIRY PRODUCTS
    -cheese 6 months
    -butter 6-9 months
  5. FRUIT AND VEGETABLES
    -citrus fruit 3 months
    -another fruits 9-12 months
    -vegetables 8-12 months 
  6. DRINKS
    -milk 3-6 months
    -fresh juice 6 months 
  7. OTHER
    -pizza 1-2 months
    -nuts 3 months
    -herbs 12 months

    Of course frosting is cool! It helps to stop the growth of bacteria in food, so the best-before date is much longer :) But the best-before date isn't without limit so you have to remember this! You also have to know the products which you can't freeze! 💣 including : eggs, coffee, salads, mayonnaise, not opened canned goods, apples, potatos, beer and fizzy drinks! But obviously its not only this products I choose the most common one :)
